Elsa’s father remarried six years ago, bringing her stepmother Jane and stepsister Amy into her life. Jane initially tried to be a good stepmother, but over time, she and Amy grew closer, excluding Elsa. Elsa’s father reassured her, “Maybe Amy’s just going through something.”
With prom approaching, Elsa saved money for her dream dress. After buying it, she returned home to find Jane and Amy had destroyed it. Jane smirked, “I thought I was cutting up some secondhand dress.”
Devastated, Elsa cried as her father entered. Hearing Jane’s cruel remarks about Amy needing to outshine her, he asked, “Did you do this, Jane?” Furious, he tore up a dress, saying, “Fix this.”
Despite the setback, her father bought her a new dress and promised, “It’s your dress, darling. Go and have fun tonight.” He also decided to divorce Jane, telling Elsa, “I’ve been blind to her treatment of you for too long. The future is for you and I.”
Elsa’s prom dream was saved, and her father’s support helped her feel valued and loved.
