Judy Sheindlin, famously known as Judge Judy, had a surprising incident during a live TV event. She now produces the show “Judy Justice.” In 2011, Judy experienced a moment she believes was a transient ischemic attack (TIA) during a live broadcast. She shared, “Devoted viewers who had been following my journey for 15 years picked up on something amiss.” They acted swiftly, notifying emergency services without seeking her confirmation. The 79-year-old performer described feeling in a “slowed-down inquiry” state, prompting the show’s producers to call 911.
Thankfully, Judy is in good health and has started a new show. When asked about retiring, she firmly stated, “My energy remains unwavering.” She has no interest in trying new hobbies, preferring to stick with what brings her joy.
Judy and Jerry Sheindlin, married for 45 years, are happily celebrating their enduring marriage away from the spotlight.
