Born in Ontario, Canada, Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley was no different from other kids in her dreams and interests. However, she stood out due to her height of just 99 centimeters and a rare heart condition affecting only about 100 people worldwide.
Doctors gave little hope, labeling her “Thumbelina” due to her size, and predicting a short life due to the risks of developmental delays, respiratory issues, and digestive problems, compounded by brain injuries at birth.
Despite these grim prospects, Kenadie defied all odds, bringing hope and amazement to her parents. Now, she continues to live life to the fullest, enjoying activities like bowling and ice dancing, and spreading joy with her infectious laughter. Her assistant, Jessica Putnam, describes her as empathetic and uplifting.
