Two young siblings, Willow and Wyman Bryant, were abducted by their biological parents during a supervised visit in South Los Angeles on August 14, 2024. Tiffany Bryant and David Walker James used an emergency exit to sneak out with the children, leaving behind their 15-month-old child in foster care.
Authorities issued an Amber Alert, describing Wyman, 4, and Willow, 2, and urged the public to be on the lookout for the family’s champagne-colored 2008 Buick Enclave. This was the second time the parents abducted the children.
“They are the type of people that can live off the grid,” said Nina Glass of Search & Rescue San Antonio, emphasizing the difficulty of the search.
Concerns have grown over the safety of supervised visits, with many questioning oversight. Retired FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer expressed shock on social media: “This is unbelievable.”
Authorities continue searching for the children, urging anyone with information to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department or Crime Stoppers. Community prayers and support for the children’s safe return have flooded social media.
