Ozzy Osbourne, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003 but revealing it publicly only in 2020, recently shared a health setback on his SiriusXM station, Ozzy Speaks. Discussing blood clots, he mentioned they had placed a filter in his artery, later removed, yet health challenges persist. Osbourne, despite constant pain, avoids excessive pain medication, expressing ongoing disappointment with his health.
In a July 10, 2023, social media update, Osbourne informed followers about the impact on his decision to perform. Originally planning a return in summer 2024, he accepted an offer for the California Power Trip Festival in October 2023 but regretfully announced his inability to perform due to his body not being ready.
Expressing gratitude for supporters, Osbourne acknowledged his close personal friends stepping in for the festival. Despite his absence, the show will go on without compromising quality.
Having suffered a spine fracture in 2019, Osbourne remains determined to return to the stage, though retirement plans are underway. Expressing doubt about scheduling tours, he stated, “I mean, if I could tour, I’d tour. But as of now, I’m unable to schedule tours because I doubt my ability to execute them.”
The uncertainty lingers: will Osbourne recover for a stage comeback, or are his touring days over?
