Denise’s life unravels when she discovers her husband Eric in a compromising position with their boss’s wife, Vanessa, at a party. Shattered, Denise confronts Eric, who coldly throws her out of their home. Devastated, Denise ends up in a cheap motel, uncertain about her future. That’s when her boss, Richard, unexpectedly appears with an unusual proposition: revenge.
“I came to make you feel better. Or at least give you a chance to,” Richard says, presenting a bag full of rats. Together, they break into the house, unleashing chaos upon the sleeping couple. The sounds of Vanessa’s screams fill the night air as Denise and Richard flee, laughing uncontrollably at the poetic justice they’ve orchestrated.
With the worst behind her, Denise takes control of her life again. As they drive away, Richard suggests breakfast, and for the first time in a long while, Denise smiles. “It’s a date,” she says, finally looking forward to her future.
