When Meredith moved next door, she quickly took issue with my solar lights, claiming they were too bright. “They keep me up all night!” she complained, demanding I take them down. Though the lights were small and harmless, I eventually removed them to avoid conflict, disappointing my daughter, Lily.
However, the very next morning, Meredith was at my door, frantic. “Please, put the lights back up!” she begged. Without the lights, raccoons had destroyed her pristine garden. Though she wanted my help cleaning up, I calmly reminded her, “You insisted they be removed.”
In the end, Meredith was left to restore her garden on her own. Meanwhile, Lily and I happily put our solar lights back up. Karma had worked its magic.
