Grace’s perfect family life is shattered when her daughter, Miley, suddenly starts avoiding her father, Adrian. Miley reveals that Adrian has been hiding something: “When you’re at work or with your friends, he stays in your room and cries… I saw him with a picture of a strange lady and a letter.”
Determined to uncover the truth, Grace searches through Adrian’s belongings and finds letters from a woman named Eliza. The most recent letter, dated a week ago, mentions a meeting in a nearby town.
Grace follows Adrian to a café where he meets Eliza. Confronting her, Grace learns that Eliza and Adrian were reconnecting to close old wounds from their past. Eliza reassures Grace, “Adrian loves you and your family. This meeting was just about letting go.”
Returning home, Adrian apologizes, “I should’ve told you about Eliza. Keeping it a secret only made things worse.” They work on rebuilding trust, and their family begins to heal, finding a new balance and understanding.
