A devoted hotel maid turns the tables on a wealthy guest who mistreats her.
“My mother has always been a source of inspiration for me,” says the narrator. Recently, at her job in a fancy hotel, she faced a difficult guest, Ms. Johnson. From the start, Ms. Johnson was disdainful, spilling coffee and demanding, “Clean that up!”
Swallowing her pride, the maid silently cleaned up again despite Ms. Johnson’s mockery, “Well done for a maid. You didn’t even talk back to me.” Determined, she returned the next day with a plan.
The maid placed a harmless but unpleasant-smelling packet under the bed. The next day, Ms. Johnson angrily complained about the smell. The maid discreetly removed the packet and aired out the room.
Later, when Ms. Johnson urgently needed a package, the maid delayed its delivery just enough to cause inconvenience. Ms. Johnson’s frustration was evident when she finally received it. The maid had given her a taste of her own medicine. “Sometimes, the best revenge is simply letting people experience the consequences of their own actions,” she reflected.
