Scarlett’s weekend getaway turned into a nightmare when her husband’s jealousy left her stranded 30 miles from home. The trip had started well with visits to quaint cafés and a relaxing boat ride. However, things soured after lunch on the last day when Sheldon accused Scarlett of flirting with their waiter. “Why was he so interested in you?” he asked angrily. As Scarlett walked alone, she was eventually picked up by a kind stranger named Tom. “My husband and I had a big fight, and he left me on the side of the road,” she explained. Tom offered sympathy as they drove towards her home.
