In an armed robbery at a Family Dollar, Adric White held employees hostage at gunpoint. A Good Samaritan with a concealed-carry license intervened. When the Samaritan aimed their weapon, White ignored warnings and was shot five times by the Samaritan. White survived but faced charges. His family protested, arguing the Samaritan shouldn’t have shot him. However, as White had threatened lives and waved his gun, the Samaritan’s actions were reasonable. White’s family lacked valid support for their claim, upset their plans failed. Though White is recovering from the five shots, he should be thankful for surviving. The Samaritan remains anonymous, regretting resorting to gunfire, using concealed carry for the first time.
