Kate’s late-night prank on her husband Greg takes a dark turn when he panics and disappears. During a road trip, Kate decides to hide in the car trunk as a joke, expecting Greg to notice and laugh. Instead, Greg becomes frantic when he can’t find her and drives off, searching for her. After nearly an hour of lying in the trunk, Kate climbs out, only to find Greg missing. She rushes to a nearby lake, fearing the worst.
Just as Kate begins to panic, Greg appears, revealing he knew about the prank all along and decided to turn the tables. “I saw you climb into the trunk at the gas station,” Greg laughs. Despite her initial anger, Kate joins in the laughter, relieved and amused by the situation.
They agree to call a truce on their prank war, realizing their love and sense of humor are what keep them close. “At the end of the day, there’s no one else I’d rather be on this wild ride with than Greg,” Kate reflects.
