A Chilling Detour
Jenna’s road trip with her baby son took a chilling turn when they discovered a town where every roof was green, and modern technology was forbidden.
A Trust Gone Wrong
Jenna, a 29-year-old single mom, was on a spontaneous road trip with her 1-year-old son, Noah. “I should have known better than to trust the GPS,” she said. After a long drive, the GPS led them down a desolate, bumpy road, leaving them lost and in need of a break.
Strange Town, Green Roofs
They stumbled upon a town with every roof painted green. Seeking food for Noah, Jenna entered a diner, met by intense stares. “Are you guys open?” she asked. The locals insisted she leave her phone in the car, revealing their distrust of technology.
Eerie Encounter
Inside, Jenna faced two men and an old lady. “We don’t tolerate this crap in our town,” one man said, explaining their off-grid lifestyle. Jenna felt trapped but managed to get food and leave.
Escape and Reflection
As Jenna sped away, she felt relief but was haunted by the experience. She later told her friend, “I ended up in this bizarre town… they believed phones listened to everything.” Jenna vowed to stick to main roads, grateful to be back in the familiar world.
