In the heart of the Kingston Residence senior living community in Sylvania, Ohio, a unique love story blossomed between two remarkable individuals – John and Phyllis Cook. Both aged over 100, these seniors discovered love on the same floor.
Phyllis, turning 103, shared, “To tell you the truth, we fell in love with each other.” Despite their age, their companionship thrived. John, a 100-year-old WWII veteran, added, “We were just compatible in a whole lot of ways, found ourselves enjoying each other’s company.”
Having been widowed twice before, the couple’s friendship deepened, leading them to tie the knot at the courthouse. Phyllis humorously noted, “He’s not completely dead sexually, and neither am I!”
With decades of joy ahead, this heartwarming tale reminds us that love and companionship know no age limits.
