White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized U.S. District Judge James Boasberg after he blocked flights returning deported Venezuelan gang members.
Leavitt called Boasberg an “activist” judge and attacked his wife’s political donations. She argued that under the Alien Enemies Act, President Trump has the authority to deport foreign terrorists, and emphasized the White House’s fight against Boasberg’s ruling. Leavitt also echoed Trump’s call for Boasberg’s impeachment, accusing the judge of undermining the president’s policies.
