3-year-old ‘listen, Linda’ kid demands cupcakes

Little children, known for their honesty and wit, often find creative ways to get what they want. In a heartwarming video, three-year-old Matteo Beltran hilariously bargains with his mom, using the now-famous line, “Listen, Linda.”

The video, capturing a timeless moment from nine years ago, depicts Matteo’s attempt to convince his mom to swap dinner for sweets. Denied by his strict mom, he turns to his grandma, sparking a humorous dispute.

Originally shared in 2014, the video amassed over 36 million views on YouTube, earning Matteo invitations to talk shows like The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Celebrities such as Queen Latifah and Michelle Obama praised the charming exchange.
